Blue Pyrenees Reserve Red 2002
The Blue Pyrenees Reserve Red is a big, full bodied wine full of ripe blackberry, plum, dark chocolate and spice with a superb hit of tannins. It’s mostly cabernet sauvignon with small amounts of shiraz, merlot and cabernet franc. James Halliday gave it 94 points.
You’d expect to pay $32 a bottle but there are huge savings and it’s on offer at $19.99 a bottle. This is a superb red wine at a bargain price.
