Australian Wine Brands Feature in Power 100 List
By Chris • May 18th, 2010 • Category: Wine BrandsEach year a list of top 100 drinks brands in the world is compiled forming the Power 100 list. This year’s list has just been released and a huge one third of the world’s leading wine brands are Australian.
The list is populated using a combination of financial data such as market share, future growth and price position and also consumer perception of the brand. A panel of experts collates all the scores and comes up with the list.
There are three Australian wine brands in the top 50, Yellowtail, Hardys and Jacob’s Creek. A further three brands are in the top 100, Lindemann’s, Wolf Blass and Penfold’s. Only the USA has more wine brands in the Power 100 list this year.
